SSPPS Partners with ESS for Substitute Staffing

South St. Paul Public Schools is partnering with ESS, a leading education staffing and management company, to recruit, hire, train, and manage substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff for the district.

Whether you're an experienced substitute or interested in working in our schools for the first time, ESS provides the support and training you need to get started. The hiring process is designed to help candidates learn about available positions, job requirements, pay rates, and onboarding. Virtual hiring events and I-9 sessions are offered regularly, giving prospective substitutes the opportunity to ask questions and connect one-on-one with ESS staff throughout the hiring process.
