Early Learning Programs
Learning starts well before a child enters kindergarten, which is why we offer programs and supports to help parents and families create learning environments for our youngest learners.
Our Programs
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes are scheduled throughout the day and evenings to better fit families’ busy schedules. We offer classes that are semester long classes that give parents and children the opportunity to build relationships, and learn helpful parenting strategies.
Preschool classes for 3-4 year olds are located at both of our elementary school sites. Childcare is available on-site before and after Preschool, as is bussing for families who qualify.
Early Childhood Screening at age three gives you free personalized information about your child’s learning and growth as well as information about all of the programs and services that could benefit your family during these early years.
South St. Paul Schools are committed to early learning as a foundation for long-term success for children. Thanks for choosing us!
Our Mission
To strengthen families through education and support for all parents; to provide the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of their children through research-based instructional/learning strategies. Parents are their children's first and most important teacher and ECFE staff are here to support you. All families are welcome and invited to attend!
